Here you will find
information about how Jamma+ is funded. It is really quite simple; when
Jamma+ was first formed it had very minimal running costs which were
soaked up by members. Over a period of time the site has become more
and more popular and in turn costs are starting to spiral and need to
be covered.
Jamma+
will never charge membership fees! Instead we have to look at other
ways to raise funds.
We
currently have a few ways of raising money and these are as follows:
1.
PayPal Donations, for members who are feeling generous. If you feel
you have found Jamma+ useful whether on a technical nature, making friends
or going to events/shows, why not show your appreciation by giving a
little back.
2.
Official Sponsor. It’s another idea to have an official site sponsor
although at this time we do not have one. If you know anyone or any
company that may be interested in giving us a site sponsorship, please
contact us using the link at the bottom of the page.
Of
course we are also always on the lookout for things to give away too.
A great example of this was the regular monthly draw for the latest
Retro Gamer magazine which was kindly given away by the nice guys at
Live Publishing.
If you know
of someone who would be prepared to give away freebies for our free
prize draws in return for a bit of publicity, please get in touch.
So
what do we need money for? Primarily we need cash to pay for the hosting
of the Jamma+ site, to help pay for stands at exhibitions, to pay for
printed material and to subsidise merchandise. If you have any questions
please click here
to contact us.
