Some good titles there, keep up the good work. I will be looking for a Mutation Nation myself soon.

Thanks! Mutation Nation is not the easiest cart to stumble upon (for a good price) but it's a great game in my opinion!

In a similar genre, I've been searching for a Robo Army but they don't appear too often too.

Sengoku 2 seems even more elusive (I know one for sale off the internet but it's higher than I am willing to pay at the moment).

League Bowling :) It's pretty easy to get the hang of, but for some people there might not be a lot of replay value attached to it in single player mode. It's a great party game though.

I think it's a pretty addictive little game, and it features a beer frame (seriously) Beer

Firing it up in MAME first might be a good idea as I've noticed some people don't like it too much.

Thanks! Pictures might be a little overkill but a list of titles of someone's collection is also nice to browse... do you keep a list of your collection, or not?

Yeah I do... and in the wanted thread are the few carts that I still need to complete my collection.

I have not actually updated the Database on here for a while so I might get that done tomorrow.

Thanks!

I've been collecting (retro) console games for about 8,9 years (good I was able to buy stuff before prices exploded on some systems) but have only been collecting arcade stuff (mainly MVS) for about 2 years.

It's fun to try to buy MVS games at good price points I think (and correspondingly wait it out for some carts). But prices have definitely gone up (a bit too much) the last two years though imho...

Your collection is immensely impressive. When did you start, and are you going for a full set in the long run? It seems you have a preference for clean labels and prefer the English label over the Japanese if available Big smile (well, same here).

I've updated the topic title to a more general 'Post your MVS collection' and linked in your collection overview from the first post on the topic.

If others chime in, I'll link them up too.

That's quite a lot of carts, very nice (a lot of great titles too)...

Please share some pictures, too Wink.

Old photo missing the last few months worth of shopping :)

Fake labels and poor boots with new labels.
Big shout out to Silverfox.

No original labels were harmed!

Cool Smile

Thanks, yes I like nice clean ENG labels whenever possible.

I've been buying MVS carts on and off for about 15 years. I don't recall exactly when but I'm guessing about 8 years ago I had a complete collection including a lot of really nice kits too (a lot I bought new). It was much, much cheaper and easier back then, anyone remember Yanton? If you don't then basically he bought a where house in China IIRC full of MVS carts, 1000's and 1000's and 1000's of them and ebayed them constantly for years and for peanuts too. A lot looked scruffy but he listed multiples in the same listing and if you asked for original clean English labels with serials intact he always obliged, they always need a wipe but stuff with holo labels was always great after a quick clean. His packaging was legendary too.

Anyway around that time I gave away a Lovely MVS lordsvale cab to a friend and I decided to trim down the collection, (not just MVS but all kinds of consoles games too) sold well over half of the MVS carts.

It probably was a fleeting moment of madness as I still don't know why I decided to get rid of so much stuff I suppose I just had way too much stuff (carboot sales were chock full of cheap retro consoles and games) so I guess it was easy come easy go as everything was cheap and plentiful. I can't exactly say I regret it as I love getting a new cart through the mail even if I've owned it before so it's all good. I'd like to end up with a complete collection again at some point in the future but SSVS is stupidly expensive now so maybe I'll have to pass on that cart. but picking up the odd game here are there is still just as fun as ever.
