Do we have a thread like this? i'm not sure as I couldn't find one.

I've been having a look for some really good Mame cabinet examples...... err no that's a lie.

If you do own any of these i'll remove them... but if you do own them you probably wouldn't dare tell anyone...

Ok so we know of this one!

wow........ what are they for??

this obviousley

and then they must fix to this!

i'm sure the missus would love that in the living room!

Paradise........

Nice paint job!

eh??? foo-king eedyot!

but the monitor rotates!..................

nothing like a game of outrun with that true arcade feeling...........

I rest my case, nice keyboard cp :D
Although, its not that bad apart from the obvious faux pas...
The 16:9 was a generic cab over here, not sure about the uk.

I think the sellers description of "arcade cabinet" might be a bit amiss here... Interesting flock effect...

Another, in my defence Im definately *NOT* anti mame, I just think that people go all out to build a cab then throw the ball away at the last minute not finishing off the cab properly. And so it ends up looking like a arcade shaped box with a dodgy monitor fitment instead.

I think he just put one of those pre-built control panels on the sliding out bit on his computer desk..... and then covered it with carpet

Look carefully.... this is like one of those antique fold away cupboard things (besides the cheap mahogany varnish!!)... it all folds away into a cupboard..... Transformers meets arcade meets cupboard

Unless it's been converted to mame with a 12 foot control panel,15 joysticks,186 buttons and a trackball......... I wouldn't worry about it

I want one to put on my computer desk, so I can play the occasional late night game on mame without having to go out to the gamesrooms.

I certainly do NOT understand why the hell people add shelves into arcade machines to put an xarcade ontop? Isnt the point of building an arcade machine that everything is built into one cab?

Or a reasonable attempt at competition for his old friend JT

Andy.
