Might be worth splitting out into a separate thread then as it doesn't seem right having a resolved personal issue in the 'trading ethics' rules.

Nobody will be reading anyone's private messages, they are just that - private.

I've sent Steve a message and hope this can be sorted out smoothly.

No the deal wasn't done on here but as he's an active member I believe it to be relevant and about the only place to try to deal with it.

The admins are welcome to go through my PM's! You won't find anything from Steve!

Well of course technically they could read PMs if they wanted to, but I think the point is that Admins agree to not read other peoples PM, on principle.

My thoughts, if you sell something and havn't posted within a day or two, send a reason why to the buyer. Comms are all important.

He said there would be stripped playfields available so I said I'd have 7 which he said he would do for £60.00. So I paid in advance as he said it would take a while to strip, fair enough.

Time went by and when he did answer my emails he said they were getting done. Time went by no contact, nothing. His old ebay name of flipout2000 and the one he replaced it with are no longer in use although I think 2011traciet is probably him (if not do let me know).

This has gone on now 3,4+ years now (I lose track its been so long) how much time am I supposed to give him? The PM's through here and J+ get delivered but I don't hear a thing back, nor do I expect to. I've contacted the mods here and Oll is aware of the situation. In a community as small as this you really would hope for better....

I am fair with everyone I've had dealings with, no-one can say I've screwed them over on anything. So Steve, you know where I am and you know how to contact me.

Ouch
So was the deal done on here? As it sounds a long time to be waiting ErmmShocked

Thanks Ben, I've tried the PM system. If he doesn't visit the site he can't be reading the message. The PM system does notify your linked personal e-mail address if you've had a message though.

I'm hoping a moderator or somebody might know the guy (personally) to be able to notify him by a call or text.
