With art (and doner cab) from Olly, and panel from Virtvic, I converted a Dino King into a mini MVS. Inside it's groovymame, with mamehooker feeding the leds through an arduino.
I use a Neo Geo X controller for 2-player games:
It just plugs in via USB, and I've mapped the controls to player 2 in MAME. It can be unplugged and plugged back in without causing issues, so I'm going to put a panel mount USB on the front. Something like this : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Dash-board-Flush-Mount-USB-Male-to-Female-Socket-Extension-Panel-Cable-MA951-/142148973277?epid=574950817&hash=item2118bd32dd:g:B1gAAOSwYlRZEgBi
Olly also printed out a load of other mini marquees for me - Garou, KOF'98, FFSpecial, Last Blade etc. and a couple of generic ones too.

Looks fantastic. Well done!

I know you might not want to say... but how much so you think this has cost you? It's one of the few projects I'd quite like to so one day!

Hands down the best conversion of these little cabs i've ever seen in terms of theme. Love it. If you ever sell, let me know.

I love it, so good to see it finished. The credit display on the control panel and proper switching marquees really are the icing on the cake.

Thanks - you'll notice the control panel looks like yours. Your conversion gave me the idea.
