not much done, but previous owner had cut the cables going to screen chassis, since I have now installed the correct monitor, it made good sense to make good the cabling, all cut wires now soldered and heat shrink applied, and new 4 pin connector for the power and degaus

I keep putting off re-assembling the steering mechanism as it was a pig to pull apart and was some time ago now:(

My Chase HQ has the same problem as many in that the steering wheel spins 360 degrees freely. The wheel still works fine but it definitely effects the game experience.

IIRC this had some kind of rubber stop posts in place originally?

Is there a cheap and simple fix for this?

sorry mate, mine doesn't spin all the way around, mine is......well was just a bit sloppy

No worries dude. BTW your turbo button looks to be on the wrong side (should be on the right / inside)

How are you getting on with the steering wheel rebuild? I was looking at the schematics the other day... looks very fiddly!

not touched it, keep putting it off! problem is I pulled it apart around 6 months ago.
