the game might have wonky colours, still, but i had a quick couple of games last night.

have forgotten so much about this game. playing it like the amstrad version definitely doesn't help. LOL

my efforts to fix the colour issues with the help of everyone is here: http://www.jammaplus.co.uk/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=32067&title=lets-fix-green-beret
Please don't sell me anymore stuff!

What's your top score, Vib?

Mine's circa 102k - still haven't managed to 'finish' it though. Unhappy

Possibly my favourite game, I can "finish" both the arcade version and Spectrum version nearly every time. I say "finish" as it just loops around, but with different enemy patterns (and harder enemies on earlier stages)

Loved this game but played it way too much!

Could loop it a few times, gets to a point where it's just non-stop jumping guys and gets very difficult. Think my highest is around 500k, was gonna go for the world record at one point. I reckon with some serious practise I could top 1 million.

Yeah what a fantastic game. Can get to stage 3 easy but never beat it on one credit. Arcade version seems miles easier than the NES version I spent so much time on when I was younger.

The game LOOPS!!! Man that's put me right off :(

Is there actually an end at some point then?

Well there is an "end". You rescue the captives and all is well.......you then start again on a "new" mission to rescue another set of captives.....funnily enough going through exactly the same landscape.

loved this game on the speccy, more than the c64 version where the knife/stab action was shite and felt more like you were wielding a twig

on the speccy i still remember how we used to joke that the dogs which attacked you looked like sheep LOL
