Not sure, but my first arcade game could be Tetris, but my first videogame could be Battlechess. I dont remember well.

My first was a Space Invaders cocktail at our local British Legion club.  I remember my Dad setting me up with a glass bottle of coke and a packet of crisps on the tabletop, and a stack of 10p pieces.

Probably Crossbow by Exidy when I was about 5-6? It was my dads favorite game in the arcades.

Earliest one I remember playing was pong on one of those super old home machines that could play 5 different version but all of the same theme my parents had in the 80's....

Wish they still had it would probably be fun to play again.

Ace. Well, it was a bi-plane game like the 2600's Combat but in the arcade. The only one I can think of is Ace. I was 12 at the time and we had a holiday at Rockley Sands caravan park in Poole Dorset in 1977. I remember me and my dad getting confused with the controls, not realising that they were set like a real airplanes joystick. It was good fun.

In terms of arcade games, Altered Beast. At least I think.

Pretty sure I remember the game but not the name. It was a top-down car game, your car could shoot enemies. But what stood out was that you started off as a man leaving a building and were supposed to get straight into the car.

But you didn't have to, and could just run around (with a gun?) instead. Youd get killed pretty quickly if you weren't in the car though.

Definitely an older 80's game, but great stuff at the time!

Sounds like an arcade precursor to the original GTAs lol
Someone give me a cab or electronic related project to do...

My first? Probably Pac-Man. Though we did have a BattleZone stand-up (the one with the viewfinder goggles you put your eyes in to see the screen) at my local ice rink back when I was a wee babby (long since closed down now, been over thirty years now), and I was always trying to play that. I needed a stool to stand on to reach the goggles, though, since i was seven and too short to reach.

On the other hand, Pac-Man was easy to reach. Still needed a stool, though.

Ah crap, is there no way to edit posts? Bummer, because I just remembered that my local chippy had a Space Invaders machine in it when I was five! That would be my first, without question!

Sorry for the double post!

Mine is easy to remember i never played an arcade as a kid as my mom wouldn't let me as all the bad boys where always around them.

But i got a neo geo mvs a few years a go and the fist game i played was sock troopers as i borrowed it from a frind awesome beginning. Then it was (artari) Tetris arcade :)
